In one of the books I have read about marketing strategy says that "The Word of the Mouth is the most Effective Way of Advertising”. Whether you believe it or not is no longer a question. I cannot as well give you an assurance whether it is indeed the best of all Market Strategies available since I myself have not tried it. I am not into business and I have nothing to market about. What I have is a piece of blogsite to tell you about the things happening around me, my views, my emotions, ideas, my principles and all that can be written. However, I will give you some observations to which the thought is overwhelming in its efficacy.

Sans Rival

There is this restaurant called Lachi which not known to me until I met this friend. She said that the restaurant serves competitive delicacies in town. When we are to talk about competitiveness, it includes quality and price. You must understand that no matter how extraordinary a good is, it is likely not vendible if it is not affordable. Think of a normal economic person with rational thinking in this case because some economic behaviors are irrational in nature. Let us say, a superstar is willing to spend much more than an ordinary person is willing to spend in order to get a good of the same quality. So after several convincing, we went to the restaurant and tried their best seller. But getting to the restaurant is not that easy, it requires you to get a reservation because it only caters few costumers a day and the space is quite not enticing. To my surprise, the servings were excellent. In fact it is the most affordable and one of the best servings I could find in Davao City.

Lachi doesn’t have website. It doesn’t advertise. It only serves best and its customers serve as an advertiser as much as I have become. I like to tell friends about this restaurant. I like bringing people there and let them experience their sumptuous servings. I cannot help but let the people know because I believed that the restaurant serves the best.

As I have observed, it seemed like that there is a formula behind the market of Lachis. The first to its equation is the QUALITY of the services. Lachis has been the caterer of cakes of most of the existing Coffe Shops in Davao. Had it not for the quality, customers might not be able to find it satisfying. Second to it is the type of customers that they have. We know that customers have different taste and choices and respond differently based on their specific need and wants. While this is true, the customers of Lachis ranges from all walks of life. The president of the company that I am working with loves their Steak, I see customers from different companies in Davao and students as well. The variety of customers is a factor of its success.

Another good example that fits that thought of market strategy is Blogadvertisingstore. As much as I blog for the things I like to share I cannot help it but share my experiences in Blog Advertising. I tell you, its not waste of time being part of it. Just try and compared what it got from the others.

Dating Advice: 10 Annoying Text Habits to Avoid

Unless you're living a seriously alternative lifestyle, you've probably been communicating via text for a while now. You text your friends, your dates -- even your parents. It's quick, convenient, and usually makes your life more pleasant... except when you come face to face with the 10 worst texting offenses in the world. Check 'em out below, plus some advice on how to stop offenders in their tracks.

#1. The Mass Text

It's Friday night, you're at home on the couch, and you get a text that goes something like this: "What are you getting into tonight?" You know for a fact that this very same text just went out to 20 other people at exactly the same time, and that the sender is just waiting to receive all his/her options before deciding what to do. So what if the only thing you have planned for the night is that lame (but sooo good) Lifetime movie at 11? You refuse to hang out with someone unless they make specific plans to hang out with you. You know how you can block those newsletters that you never signed up for by sending an email with "unsubscribe" in the body? We suggest doing the same thing in a reply-text.

#2. The Texting Cult

There is always at least one point in the night -- a lull in the conversation, a pause between thoughts -- when it gets really quiet, and you look around and realize that all your friends are busy texting. One person pulls out her iPhone while everyone else is looking at the dinner bill, and then someone else starts doing it, and before you know it, you're in the middle of the sacred circle of text. Resist the urge to choose some random person in your contacts to send a useless message to. Instead, pull out your phone and send a text to everyone at the table asking, "Should we order something else?" It will make everyone laugh but also point out the silliness of the situation.

#3. The Double Message

Of course you screen calls. Everyone does. Sometimes you're in the middle of something and sometimes you just don't feel like talking. But your phone is still working, and you see the missed call and the voice message alert. So why -- why?! -- do certain people feel the need to send a text letting you know that they just left a message? Don't they realize that if someone is smart enough to read a text, they're also capable of understanding what the little bobble head with the sound waves coming out of him symbolizes? Text back, "What's next, a carrier pigeon?"

#4: The Texting Tease

You're seeing a really cute/smart/funny/cool new guy, and your heart skips a tiny beat every time you get a text from him. In the middle of the week, you get one asking what you're up to this weekend. Assuming he wants to do something together, you let him know that it's looking pretty relaxed so far. Does he then proceed to make a plan with you? No. He responds, "Oh OK, cool." You stand there with a perplexed look on your face. Respond "Yeah, but call my secretary if you want to schedule something." This way, the ball is in his court, but ultimately you're the one who is in charge, thanks to your confident attitude.

#5. The Bulk Texter

An example of what a series of texts from this person might look like:

Hey!
What's up?
What are you doing tonight?
Some of us are going to Cool People Club tonight.
Around 10
It's gonna be me and Chris
Are you coming?
Let us know
Byeee!
lolz

An example of what that exchange should look like:

6. The Bored Texter

You've just finished a sufficiently long and entertaining texting exchange with someone, and now you're ready to put your phone down for a little while. But your phone dings, and it's another text from said person. It looks like this: "Soooo..." Or, "What upppp." Or, "la la la..." Clearly, they have nothing else to say and just want something to do. Send a text saying, "Running, watching movies, reading books, baking." Your buddy will get the point that some people actually have a life.

7. The Show-and-Teller

Love is wonderful. We're huge advocates of love and being in love and enjoying that love. People gushing on and on about their amazing love life? Not so much. Not only do you have to listen to them tell every insignificant story about how cute it was that their boyfriends ate pancakes for dinner and woke up with a funny hairdo, but you also have to read all of their SUPER-cute texts. "Guys, look what he wrote to me! Omg look at what he said now! Haha aww, look at this one!!" The cure? A dose of their own medicine. "Hey, look what my mom said about her gallbladder! Omg you won't believe how I'm planning to organize my sock drawer! Aww, my dog is wagging his tail. Oh, he's doing it again!!"

8. The Goobers-and-Popcorn Texter

The previews are over, you've been waiting to see this movie for weeks, and here you finally are, snacks in hand. But the guy in front of you insists on ruining your experience by texting for the entire 96 minutes. Here's a little secret he doesn't know: EVERYONE sees his phone lighting up. And hears it vibrating violently every two minutes. When the lights come up at the end of the flick, call up a friend and loudly discuss how rude the guy texting throughout the entire movie was. Then get ready to start running.

9. The Lingering K

This one is especially aggravating if you're not on an unlimited texting plan. You get a message asking how your day went or if you'll be free at a certain time, so you send back a detailed and informative reply. Your phone dings again. You open the message and it says..."k." Do people not even have the decency to include the o? The offender doesn't even need to reply to the message. But if they feel the need to, could they not at least drum up something a little more personal/creative/not totally unnecessary? Respond by letting them know how much, to the cent, they owe you for superfluous texts the next time you're together. Then hold your palm out expectantly.

10. The Needs-to-Grow-Up Texter

Guys should never, ever get comfortable with using text slang and abbreviations. Whether he's a friend, date, or boyfriend, no girl wants to associate the men in their lives with tween-speak. The next time he sends you a "TTY L8ER" or "C U 2morrow," tell him that he should really consider an iPhone, BlackBerry, Sidekick, or "anything that gives you more room to text." He'll realize how outdated his text-talk is.

(Born- January 25, 1933)
Seventh and First Woman President of the Republic of the Philippines
(Term: February 25, 1986- June 30, 1992)

Corazon Aquino was a political leader and president from (1986 to 1992) of the Philippines.

In 1983 she succeeded her husband and senator, Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. as leader of the opposition to then president Ferdinand Marcos. Aquino was assassinated in the same year at the then Manila International Airport following his arrival from the US where he stayed for seven years.

No one could have imagined that Mrs. Aquino would become president, the first woman to lead the country after Marcos was ousted in a military-backed popular revolt that she spearheaded in 1986.

When Marcos called for a presidential election in February 1986, Mrs. Aquino became the unified opposition's candidate. Although she was officially reported to have lost the election to Marcos, Aquino and her supporters challenged the results, charging widespread voting fraud.

High officials in the Philippine military soon publicly renounced Marcos’ continued rule and proclaimed Aquino the Philippines rightful president.

On Feb. 25, 1986, both Aquino and Marcos were inaugurated as president by their respective supporters but that same day Marcos fled the country.

In March 1986 then president Aquino appointed a commission that would rewrite the Constitution.

The revised Charter was ratified by a landslide vote in February 1987.

Despite popular support, Aquino was accused of economic injustice, a problem exacerbated by continuing warfare between the communist insurgency and a military whose loyalties to Aquino were uncertain. In general, her economic policies were criticized for faltering in the face of mass poverty.

Aquino was born to a wealthy family in Tarlac on Jan. 25, 1933. Her parents were Don Jose Cojuangco and Doña Demetria Sumulong. She was the sixth among the eight children of the Sumulong. Corazon Aquino's children are Maria Elena Aquino, Aurora Corazon, Victoria Eliza, Senator benigno Aquino III, and Kris, a TV and movie personality.

In 1946, Aquino’s family left for the US and she enrolled at Ravenhill Academy in Philadelphia. She finished her junior and senior years at Notre Dame College in New York. She entered Mount Saint Vincent College in New York City in 1949 where she finished a Bachelor of Arts, major in French. In 1953, she returned to the Philippines to take up law at the Far Eastern University, but then abandoned further studies in 1955 to marry Benigno Aquino Jr., who was then a promising young politician.

Before her entry into politics, Mrs. Aquino was a housewife, content with supporting her husband and raising five children.

The World's Most Beautiful Scenery

Ansel Adams loved the area around Yosemite National Park so much that he called it “the great earth gesture,” as if Mother Nature had rewarded humanity with a prize. As history’s greatest landscape photographer, Adams knew a thing or two about stunning natural settings, but even his view was extremely limited. Had he been born a century later, chances are good that Adams would have photographed drop dead vistas from the Andes to the Australian Outback, but instead he confined his photography almost exclusively to the American West.

Gorgeous and diverse as the West is, Earth is a far, far larger place, full of landscapes that can be colorful, uniform and fitting to the eye, or just as easily, monotone, barren, misshapen and bizarre. Today, the kind of “great earth gestures,” Adams appreciated can be found on every continent.

Ice, rock, sand, plants, steam, hydraulics, wind and sun are just some of the elements that can contribute to settings so stunning that it is sometimes hard to believe they exist at all—or at least exist on earth. This is why writers struggling to describe such places often rely on adjectives like “alien,” “otherworldly” and “moonscape.” Other times nature’s work is so perfect and precise that is it is hard to fathom it is natural at all. Of the incredibly uniform Chocolate Hills of the Philippines, visitors often believe that like the pyramids, they are the handiwork of some industrious ancient culture.

But in fact, these incredible landscapes are both terrestrial and naturally occurring, and you can see so for yourself, as they beckon the intrepid traveler. Unlike the iconic images of man’s great labors, the Pyramids, the Moai of Easter Island, or the Eiffel Tower, these scenes are powerful to behold precisely because of man’s absence, shaped not by bulldozers, but by elemental forces.

Natural beauty is impossible to define, and truly in the eye of the beholder, and it would be pointless to try to describe one natural site as more beautiful than other. At the same time, it would be hard to imagine a beholder who was not stunned by the almost indescribable stilettos of rock and trees forming Madagascar’sTsingy de Bemaraha nature preserve or bowled over by the ultimate expression of liquid frozen in place that is Iceland’sJokulsarlon glacier lagoon.

These are all among the crème de la crème of landscapes, and they are all utterly breathtaking. Their very diversity defies easy comparison. Are glaciers, which covered nearly a third of the planet during the last ice age, but are now rare enough to require an effort to seek out, more or less beautiful than shifting desert sands studded with wind-carved rock pinnacles or formed into towering dunes that appear to be on fire? Is adeep canyon carved from rock by flowing water more impressive than a plant that can outlive the very rock around it, like the awesome baobob trees of Africa and Australia, which can live nearly 2000 years?

The range of landscapes that could qualify as the best is so vast it has even experts confused. The Seven Natural Wonders of the World, a not-for-profit organization devoted to encouraging people to discover, explore, and engage the natural wonders of the world, is in the process of expanding its list from the historically accepted, and somewhat befuddling seven (Aurora Borealis, Grand Canyon, Paricutin volcano, Victoria Falls, Great Barrier Reef, Mt. Everest and Rio’s harbor) to seven on each continent, just for starters.

The organization explains, “it is fair to question how the wonders were originally selected; why Victoria Falls was chosen and notIguazu Falls.” Accordingly, “Seven Natural Wonders recognizes… that this world is full of amazing, beautiful, and unique ‘natural wonders’ that deserve their spotlight and recognition.”

Here are 12 such landscapes, some of which are largely unknown but all of which certainly deserve their spotlight and recognition.
